Jon-Patric Veal

Hey, I’m Jon-Patric! I am originally from Baton Rouge, Louisiana and attended Hendrix college in Arkansas where I played collegiate sports for five years. Following my time at Hendrix, I earned my Master’s degree in Psychology at the University of Louisiana Lafayette (ULL). In my time at ULL, I had the opportunity to be an Instructor for three semesters where I found a true passion for working with students. 

Throughout my career I’ve worked for about four years primarily with youth and adolescents in a variety of mental health and educational settings. I currently aim to do so for the foreseeable future. Ultimately I am very passionate about giving kids the support they need, and I am especially passionate about providing that support academically. 

My interests outside of my professional career definitely include all sports, anime, movies, video games, and fitness. I still keep in contact with many of my old teammates and find a lot of joy in keeping up with my alma mater’s progress in football.
