One-On-One Tutoring
Cost: $85/hour
One-on-one tutoring sessions are our bread and butter. In these private sessions, your student will receive individualized attention and tailored strategies to supplement their learning. We believe this one-on-one time is helpful for building a mentorship between student and tutor, allowing students to comfortably and confidently achieve any learning goals we set.
Test Prep
Cost: $95/hour
From standardized tests to midterms, studying for big exams can be daunting for any student. Avoid cramming the night before and schedule a test prep session with one of our tutors. We offer tutoring for the ACT and SAT, as well as professional exams like the GRE, GMAT, LSAT, and MCAT.
College Prep Sessions
Cost: $95/hour
In addition to tutoring high school students in their current coursework, we also help them look ahead to the future through college preparation sessions. We work on developing skills in research, critical thinking, and time management that are invaluable in the college classroom. Once our students graduate from high school, our mentorship doesn’t have to end there. We’ll hop on a video call for remote tutoring even after our students move away to college.
College Advising
Cost: $95/hour
The college application process can be stressful, and we are here to help guide students and parents through it. We encourage all our students to make the most of their schools’ college advising, but we understand that they may need more personalized guidance. We will help students find the right fit for them, develop ideas for their personal essays, and help ensure that their applications stand out.
Group Tutoring
Cost: $55 per student/hour
Group tutoring is a great option for students who want to study with their classmates or friends under the guidance of a skilled tutor. These sessions tend to be more collaborative, giving students the opportunity to develop group study skills and learn from one another.
A Note on Our Tutoring Methods
Our goal in academic tutoring is to help students help themselves. We teach study skills and help explain concepts in the subjects listed below. However, academic tutoring is intended to supplement, not replace, what students are already learning in school. What we do NOT do is complete students’ homework for them, write essays for them, or aid on graded take-home quizzes/tests. Both to abide by schools’ honor codes and for students’ own long-term benefit, students should come in ready to do their own work.
